Bromo Midnight, that’s what we call about the tour program. It needs more power, energy and stamina. We will be lack of sleeping. I guarantee, we can not sleep during trip from Surabaya to Cemoro Lawang. I used to ask to tourists to fall into sleep or just take a rest, but I’m sure they can’t do it well. Since I have to have a chat with the driver during the trip, they will be disturbed with our conversation. In order to make the driver stay a wake or prevent him to fall in sleep, I have to chit chat with the driver.
The driver always talks at the same topic; it is about human, human and human again. Sometimes, that’s make me bored. But, I’ll try to respect him.
We pick up the tourists in an address in the middle of the night. It takes 3 hours to get Cemoro Lawang, and then we were waiting about an hour for rent horses. I think, at 3 o’clock is earlier to organize the horsemen. We stayed in our car and chatting. As what I’m thinking it is very cold outside car and it’s true, damn cold. Brrrrr….then I ask to them to follow me. The problem is there are a few toilets there. I don’t know why the tourism Department or Bromo Plateau Officer doesn’t have notice about that, it is very important to manage and built the public toilet there. I still don’t know well which the department who is responsible to organize all of those matters.
No light, walking at the darkness with a little light it is very common. I just think, there are many lamp balloons a long path the street but they all doesn’t work. Oh, my God. We have to ride the horse in the darkness. To me, it is very attractive like kidnapping in the middle of the night…hahaha, but I feel I can’t enjoy anything walking in the darkness, no scenery at all.

on the way to the peak of mount Bromo, I can see the shy light from east. the colour is combination between Red and Yellow. a part of it splendid like a line lay from north to South.. that's nice. one more gorgeous sight is there are many stars sparkling everywhere.
Approximately 25 minutes, we arrived in the valley of the Bromo. we got off from the horse then we have to go to upstairs, it's about 250 steps. I was surprised at the peak of Bromo I just can see many European there. Young, old, kids, boys are gathering waiting for the Sunrise. That would be extremely wonderful, cool, attractive Sunrise. even though, the smell of sulfur stings our nose and the wind blows which breezed our body we find the Sun smile perfectly at this spot. Nobody will regret being at this site.
